It’s quite common for brides to create a wedding checklist to plan every detail for their wedding. However, often forgotten is the creation of a personal wedding checklist!

This type of wedding checklist is useful for making a list of the personal items and details often forgotten for the day of the wedding.

We put together this wedding checklist to keep you organized for the day of your wedding!

The Marriage License:

It’s important to check in advance of your wedding date what the requirements are for receiving your marriage licenses as this process is specific to the state in which you live. Once you have applied for and received your marriage license document, be sure to pack it up to take with you to your wedding.

Final Payments for Officiant and Vendors:

Most vendors expect their final payments the day of the wedding. Inquire in advance of your wedding day how each vendor expect to be paid and have the bank checks, personal checks or cash ready to go. Place each payment in envelopes, label appropriately and place them in the bag that will be going with you to your wedding.

Remember to eat:

Brides are often too busy and stressed to remember to eat the morning of their wedding. Skipping meals on the day of your wedding can be a recipe for disaster. It’s critical for brides to make time to eat in order to prevent hunger-related issues such as dizziness, fainting and nausea later in the day. Remember to plan small meals throughout the day so that you arrive at your wedding fresh and ready to party.

The Button Down Shirt:

It’s important to remember to wear a shirt that doesn’t go over the head when sitting for hair and makeup. You don’t want to ruin your hairstyle or smudge makeup so a button down shirt is perfect.

Pack Your Jewelry & Accessories:

Finalize your wedding day look in advance but don’t forget which pieces of jewelry you have selected! If you are getting dressed somewhere other than your house, be sure to take your hair accessories and jewelry along with you. Don’t forget your wedding shoes, a comfortable pair of slippers or shoes to change into and your undergarments too!
